


If anyone who works for Autodesk directly or indirectly ought to let them know that this crazy system is just leaving a lot of bad feelings with a lot of current/future engineers who WILL have a say on what product their employer SHOULD be using. You would think that they can setup a ‘promocode’ that is only available through the Lead Mentor’s dashboard and that goes to a special renew/create page and make it that simple but no, this annual pain in the rear process is just so badly implemented. Through Autodesk’s certification programme, students can set themselves apart and increase employability.

Honestly, I really think Autodesk, being as large of a corporation as they are, should be able to make the entire account system far less complicated for FIRST. I’m able to renewal mine (finally), I have 1 mentor who tries to create a new account but still couldn’t, I have 4-5 new students able to signup for new account but I also have a student who couldn’t renew his. But the entire timing is weird with Autodesk. Click on that and then follow through (and select you already have an account). Go all the way to the bottom Get Fusion 360. Go to Competitions: FIRST | Autodesk Education Community.
